Privacy policy

Your privacy is important to us. It is Visualkontakt policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across our Site.

1. Information we collect

 

Log data

When you visit our Site, our servers may automatically log the standard data provided by your web browser. It may include your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, your browser type and version, the pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on each page, and other details.

We do not collect or distribute credit card numbers at all.

  • courts, tribunals, regulatory authorities and law enforcement officers, as required by law, in connection with any actual or prospective legal proceedings, or in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights; and

Your privacy and the security of your personal information are important to us. We maintain and protect the security of our servers and your personal information. No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, however. Accordingly, despite the safeguards in place to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, or to or from our online products or services. You transmit all such information at your own risk. However, once we receive your personal information, we will undertake all commercially reasonable efforts to ensure its security on our systems. To secure the information we collect online, prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure only appropriate use of information, we have established appropriate physical, electronic and management safeguards. We require user names and passwords to access sensitive data. Unless you authorize unencrypted transmission, we will use industry standard encryption methods to protect your data transmission.

The personal information we collect is stored and processed in United States, or where we or our partners, affiliates and third-party providers maintain facilities. By providing us with your personal information, you consent to the disclosure to these overseas third parties.

We will take reasonable steps to correct any information found to be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or out of date.
  • Right to opt-out to direct marketing. You have the right to opt-out at any time to receiving marketing materials from us by following the opt-out instructions in our commercial emails, by contacting us, or by adjusting your email preferences in your user account settings. Please note that we reserve the right to send you other communications, including service announcements and administrative messages relating to your account, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them.
  • Right not to be subject to an automated decision, including profiling. We do not make automated decisions using your personal data that may negatively impact you.
  • Right to complain. We will promptly investigate your complaint and respond to you, in writing, setting out the outcome of our investigation and the steps we will take to deal with your complaint. California Privacy Rights

If you are a resident of California, this section provides additional details about your rights granted by the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”).

Subject to certain limitations, the CCPA provides you the right to request:

  • That we provide you access to details on the categories or specific pieces of personal information we collect and/or sell (including how we use and disclose this information, to whom we may sell it);
  • That we delete any of your personal information;
  • To opt out of any “sale” of your personal information that may occur; and
  • To not be discriminated against for exercising any of the above rights.

We will verify your request using information associated with your account, including your email address. Further identification may be required. You may also designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf.

 

Nevada Privacy Rights

If you are a resident of Nevada, Nevada law (SB 220) permits customers in Nevada to opt-out of the sale of certain kinds of personal information. A sale under Nevada law is the transfer of this personal information to third parties for monetary consideration so these third parties can then re-sell or license the sold information. Visualkontakt does not sell your personal information to third parties as defined in Nevada law.

8. Cookies

 

We use “cookies” to collect information about you and your activity across our Site. A cookie is a small piece of data that our Site stores on your computer, and accesses each time you visit, so we can understand how you use our Site. This helps us serve you content based on preferences you have specified. Cookies cannot pass viruses, harm your computer or pass on private information such as an email address without the user’s intervention. Cookies contain session identification numbers that allow our systems to recall previous sessions for authentication efforts and assemble information from our gathered data. You can configure your computer’s browser to alert you when a site is attempting to send you a cookie and allow you to accept or refuse the cookie. In addition to cookies, we may use small bits of computer code called “one-pixel GIFs,” “clear GIFs,” or “web beacons” embedded in web pages to monitor Site activity. At our discretion, we may change our privacy policy to reflect current acceptable practices. We will take reasonable steps to let users know about changes via our Site. Your continued use of this Site after any changes to this policy will be regarded as acceptance of our practices around privacy and personal information.
